Harrell Horne Integrated School partnered with First Eduspec Inc. in bringing the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Robotics Curriculum integrated in the K to 12 Education for the School Year 2016 – 2017 as a tool in enhancing the STEM subjects.
Last February 13, the trainers from First Eduspec Inc. showcased an exhibit to the parents and students. With the inclusion of this in our curriculum, the whole program aims to further develop the students’ skills thru learning by doing. The students will:
a) Learn from experience and from their actions;
b) Use real-world projects to engage students and motivate them to learn while having fun with robots;
c) Incorporate creativity and student decision-making into classroom lessons;
d) Promote 21st century skills; and
e) Be lifelong self-directed learners who are primed for educational and career success.
The Robotics Classes will be part of the curricular offerings for Grade 1 up to Grade 10 and Senior High School students.
