Harrell Horne Integrated School has four (4) quarters in a school year. Letter grades are given for Preschool and numerical grades with letter correspondence for Grade School and High School (K to 12 system).
The academic performance of a pupil is indicated by the mark he/she receives in each subject area as shown in his/her report card. A student’s grade in each subject is computed at the end of each quarter. Different levels of assessment are used to evaluate students’ performance. Grades are recorded and reported based on the results of quizzes, long tests, oral evaluations, experiments, written reports, reflection papers, formal themes, projects and other requirements.
FOR GRADE I, II AND III, AND GRADE VII, VIII AND IX, X
The assessment shall be done at four levels and shall be weighted as follows:
